FIVE PICTURE FRIDAY!!

The San Antonio River Walk

Taken April 18, 2024

South Congres, the love that Texans have for San Antonio - and the River Walk in particular - is surely rooted in the fact that it represents the exact opposite of the rest of Texas. It’s culturally diverse, deep in history, and focused on preservation. It’s wholly unique, artistic, pedestrian friendly, architecturally engaging, and flaunts some real urban planning, by God! It’s a mix of San Diego, New Orleans, Austin. Dare we say, it’s like Venice...with enchiladas.

About “Five Picture Friday”

Every other Friday, I produce a short photo-essay on an interesting location. I try to capture the essence of the place, distilled down into a few images. It’s a fun way to practice my photography, and I hope you enjoy a little armchair travel!
