FIVE PICTURE FRIDAY!!

Whistler, British Columbia

Taken December 23-25, 2023

About 80 miles north of Vancouver, British Columbia, Whistler-Blackcomb can be found, tapping into in the moisture of the Salish Sea to create a winter playground. Site of the 2010 Winter Olympics, huge mountains and natural beauty draw an international crowd and locals alike. Skiing is the main attraction, but the European-flavored village offers a myriad of ways to drain your wallet, from high-end shopping to restaurants, bars, and spas.

About “Five Picture Friday”

Every other Friday, I produce a short photo-essay on an interesting location. I try to capture the essence of the place, distilled down into a few images. It’s a fun way to practice my photography, and I hope you enjoy a little armchair travel!

Parting Proclamation

Words, witticisms, and wisdom:

Truth resides in a panoramic rather than a local view of events.
