FIVE PICTURE FRIDAY! - La Condesa
Quaint, garden oasis in the center of Mexico City.
Taken February 14, 2026
The La Condesa neighborhood in Mexico City is a creative, culinary, and comforting area to base your explorations. Parks and ample trees give a garden like vibe, while world class restaurants and art deco architecture make the district seem timeless. The Avenida Amsterdam - a dedicated pedestrian and bike pathway - circles the neighborhood center, forming a core that links plazas and patios, where people walk their dogs and dine with friends in the cool evening.
About “Five Picture Friday”
Every other Friday, I produce a short photo-essay on an interesting location. I try to capture the essence of the place, distilled down into a few images. It’s a fun way to practice my photography, and I hope you enjoy a little armchair travel!
Want a print?
For those desperate for some wall decor or simply infatuated with one of my photos, prints are now available for a nominal fee - basically ‘at cost’. Send me an email with your request, and I’ll make it happen.
